Serves two
Ingredients
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 slice of ginger
- 12 prawns de-shelled and de-veined
- 2 tomatoes cut in quarters
- 1 can of mushrooms
- Gravy mixture: 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 bowl of water
- 2 tsp corn flour
- optional: fried potato chunks
Method
- Fry the garlic until slightly brown. Fry with a slice of ginger at the same time.
- Add all the prawns, tomatos and mushrooms in and fry till the prawns turn slightly pink
- Add gravy mixture
- Cover the wok for about half a minute
- Add in 1/2 bowl of water. Fry for a while
- To thicken the gravy, add cornflour while stirring and frying all the while
- Cover the wok for another half a minute.
- Serve hot.
